Fire Kit (With Fire Blanket)
The fire blanket is housed in a red, wall-mounted case with two pull tabs at the bottom and a label that clearly reads “FIRE BLANKET.” The label also features a diagram showing how to use it. Fire blankets are made from fire-resistant materials, like fiberglass, and are used to smother small fires, particularly those in kitchens, by cutting off the oxygen supply. They can also be used to wrap around a person whose clothing is on fire for protection.
